Reboot Museum
Digital repositioning of a museum
A complete digital strategy to win back young audiences at the Bordeaux Museum of Fine Arts, built around the immersive concept “Journey Through Time”, blending virtual reality, artificial intelligence and an escape game.
The project
As part of the Reboot Museum capstone project, our team carried out the full digital repositioning of the Bordeaux Museum of Fine Arts (MusBA). Faced with falling attendance among 18-35 year-olds and an institutional image seen as unengaging, the school commissioned us to rethink its digital presence, brand identity and user experience. Run over a full year (October 2025 to June 2026, 196 hours), the project drew on three RNCP skill blocks: strategic analysis and scoping, project management, and digital marketing strategy.
The concept
“Journey Through Time” positions MusBA as a living, experiential venue connected to contemporary cultural habits. The concept is built around immersive features combining virtual reality, artificial intelligence and an escape game, in order to create a strong, memorable and shareable cultural experience; driven by technology and tuned to the codes of the 18-35 generation.
